Housing for the blind ideas

I am looking to get feedback about what would make an apartment complex accessible to the blind and the visually impaired. I am working with a consultant and we’re planning to make housing for the blind more accessible to the blind and the visually impaired by changing floor patterns, painting, and having audible signals for exit doors in the case of an emergency. We’re looking to make it accessible for people who have good mobility and for people who don’t have good mobility. As of now, we’re forming ideas like having audible signals if a door opens in or out. Any ideas or thoughts that you have would be very helpful!

You can comment below or you can call the number 253-780-9696. My website is http://www.robertkingett.com and that has my email address on it if you want to do it that way.

Remember, what may seem dumb to you may help someone else with different mobility skills and needs, so any idea is welcome. Please get back to me as soon as possible. Thank you!
